고려대학교 통일융합연구원이 보다나은미래를위한 반기문재단과 함께 오는 29일 오후 2시 고려대학교 백주년기념관에서 제4차 공동 심포지엄을 개최한다고 18일 밝혔다.
 
이번 심포지엄은 '질서 이후의 질서: 국제안보의 재편과 한반도 평화'를 주제로, 고려대학교 통일선도대학사업단의 후원으로 마련됐다. 격변하는 국제안보 질서 속 한반도 평화의 조건을 모색하기 위해 개최된다. 개회식은 김동원 고려대 총장의 환영사로 시작되며, 반기문 제8대 UN 사무총장이 기조강연을 진행한다. 본 행사는 두 개의 세션으로 구성된다.
 
제1세션에서는 '지정학적 충돌의 연쇄화와 한반도 평화'를 다룬다. 김숙 보다나은미래를 위한 반기문재단 상임이사(前 UN 대사)가 좌장을 맡은 가운데 △인남식 국립외교원 전략지역연구부장(교수)의 '중동분쟁의 복합화와 국제질서의 재편' △박영준 국방대 국가안보문제연구소장의 '연쇄위기의 국제질서와 한반도 평화의 조건' 발표가 진행된다.
 
이어 이숙종 성균관대 특임교수, 김동중 고려대 국제학부 교수(국제대학원 부원장), 임재천 고려대 통일선도대학사업단장이 토론자로 나서 중동발 위기의 파급과 한반도 평화의 조건을 모색한다.

Order After Order: The Restructuring of International Security and Peace on the Korean Peninsula
This symposium is the 4th joint event co-hosted by Ban Ki-moon Foundation for a better future (보다나은미래를위한 반기문재단) and Korea University's Institute for Interdisciplinary Unification Studies. It will take place on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 14:00 to 17:30, at the International Conference Room, Samsung centennial(centenary) Hall (백주년기념삼성관), Korea University.

The program opens with welcoming remarks from Korea University President Kim Dong-won, followed by a keynote address from Ban Ki-moon, the 8th Secretary-General of the United Nations.

Session 1 ("The Chaining of Geopolitical Conflicts and Peace on the Korean Peninsula") examines how compounding regional crises from the Middle East to broader systemic instability are reshaping the conditions for peace on the peninsula, chaired by Kim Sook (former UN Ambassador), with presentations by Nam-sik In(Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security), Young-June Park(Korea National Defense University) and discussion from Sook Jong Lee, Dong Jung Kim, and Jae-Cheon Lim

Session 2 ("Global Governance Restructuring in the Age of Technological Hegemony and Korea's Strategy") turns to how AI and technology competition are redrawing global governance and supply-chain security, chaired by Shin-wha Lee(Director, Institute for Interdisciplinary Unification Studies), with presentations by Taekyoung Kwon(Yonsei University) and Sangbae Kim(Seoul National University), and discussion from Sung-wook Nam, Jong In Lim, and Jang Sang-sik.
